Brief background of the Trust/Society, Governing body members
P. G. Centre for Management
Studies, Sanjay Memorial Institute of Technology (S.M.I.T.) is
the first Technical/Professional institution of Orissa
Established in the year 1980 and registered under Society
Registration Act.1860.The management of the institution have
started Diploma Engineering Course in the year 1980 and full
time MBA course was introduced in the year 1981 at village
Ankushpur, Berhampur and both the courses are approved by the
A.I.C.T.E.
MBA Programme was introduced in the year
1981 in separate complex at Ankushpur and constructed its
full-fledged own Building with infrastructure facilities as per
Norms of the A.I.C.T.E. The Governing Body of the Institution
has been constituted as per A.I.C.T.E. guideline and regular
meetings are being conducted with Government and University
Representatives.
